First two COVID-19 Positive children discharged today from JLNM Hospital Rainawari Srinagar along with their mother who was COVID-19 Negative but was staying with her daughters. The repeat samples of both the children and of the mother came NEGATIVE for COVID-19 today.
The children were tested positive for COVID19 at Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar. The siblings were admitted at JLNM Hospital, a designated COVID-19 hospital in Srinagar. Dr Sumir Mattoo, director health services Kashmir said the children had been isolated and their mother equipped with personal protective gear. The age of one of the siblings was 4 years and 7-years.
As per the Sources, noone has tested positive for Covid-19 till in Jammu region in last 24 hours. As per the reports 63 samples have tested negative including the sample of the husband and child of woman who had delivered a baby at SMGS hospital a few days back. The report of contacts of person who tested positive from lower Roop Nagar also came to be negative.
